The play centres on a series of meetings of the Vernon Point Neighbourhood Association, hosted by Kyra Marshall, the association’s newest member and a new arrival to Vernon Point — a deceptively simple premise. These meetings reveal themselves to be a hotbed of political manoeuvring and power battles, all in the name of serving the greater good. They are also a metaphor for the ideological battles being fought across America and beyond.
